This year marks Akko’s 9th anniversary—nearly a decade of pushing boundaries in mechanical keyboard design. To celebrate, we are continuing our tradition of blending innovation with culture by unveiling a limited-edition keyboard- Akko Year of Snake.

Building on the success of the MOD 007 HE Year of Dragon, the Akko Year of Snake continues Akko’s commitment to fusing Chinese Zodiac elements with cutting-edge craftsmanship.

And during Akko’s anniversary live stream just days ago, three Akko Year of Snake keyboard designs were showcased. While each carried its own unique interpretation of Chinese tradition, Xuanwu design stood out above the rest.

For the Xuanwu version, which is inspired by the mythical Chinese creature, the Xuanwu, is often depicted as a tortoise entwined with a snake. Both are revered as sacred animals in Chinese mythology, symbolizing longevity and good fortune. And the keyboard is the tented Alice layout, which supports a more natural wrist angle, while the CNC aluminum build delivers both durability and convenience.

At IFA 2025, Xuanwu will be showcased, giving fans the chance to try the keyboard firsthand and explore its original design.
