Getting older shouldn’t mean giving up the freedom to walk. That’s the idea behind
AlpWalk S1, the hip-assistive exoskeleton making its debut at ShowStoppers and IFA Berlin 2026 (Booth Hall H5.2_306).
Its hip-joint motors actively assist every step, climb, and stair, cutting walking effort by up to 35% — powered by AlpWalk’s proprietary “Gentle-Pace” AI gait algorithm, trained on more than 10,000 elderly gait samples to recognize how each wearer actually moves.
Safety comes first: 0.1-degree joint control, a carbon-fiber frame, mechanical safety stops, and an optional fall-protection airbag. Comfort keeps it wearable all day, with an ergonomic fit and an ultra-light, foldable design that packs into a backpack.
A 4,600mAh battery delivers up to 6 hours of range, fast-charging in about an hour. Stop by our booth to see it walk — and try it yourself.
