ShowStoppers @ Mobile World Congress Americas builds on the ten years of press events for journalists around the world that ShowStoppers already produces at Mobile World Congress in Barcelona – and the decades of press events that ShowStoppers produced at CTIA tradeshows in the United States.
GSMA – which produces Mobile World Congress — and CTIA announced in June 2016 that the two mobile organizations would team up to produce a combined tradeshow in the United States starting in 2017.
Like all press events produced by ShowStoppers for 23 years, ShowStoppers @ Mobile World Congress Americas will organize new mobile and wireless gear, gadgets, apps, services and devices for work, home and play from industry leaders, innovators and start-up companies.
ShowStoppers @ MWC 2018 Americas is an invitation-only media reception that enables exhibiting companies to directly meet with hundreds of pre-qualified journalists, analysts and key industry influencers.
The media comes to ShowStoppers to see the latest digital technologies, products and services aimed at today’s diverse lifestyles, changing workstyles and transformative business models.

How does the event work?
ShowStoppers combines a product showcase, hands-on demos, and a relaxed reception into one efficient event. It’s an informal ambiance – that includes a buffet and open bars.
Journalists arrive and ShowStoppers checks them in, to ensure they were invited. During the course of the evening, they meet with exhibitors, as they make their way around the room. Exhibitors arrive 2 to 3 hours prior to the event to set up, and to eat something before the event begins.

Monitor rentals are available to enhance your demonstration. Cost ranges from $350 to $750 USD, depending upon the selected size.

Can I request a special location at ShowStoppers?
ShowStoppers does its best to honor requests for placement in general areas of the venue, or near/or far from other exhibitors.
How long will spots be available at this event?
ShowStoppers events sell out every year, so we encourage you to book your spot early!
Do I need toexhibit in MWC Americaa in order to participate in ShowStoppers?
No. While you are not required to exhibit in MWCA in order to participate in ShowStoppers @ MWC Americas -– we always encourage you to consider it as an option.
Are there speaking opportunities?
No. ShowStoppers @ MWC Americas is a demonstration/showcase event. There is no stage for presentations and speeches. Instead, you shake hands and talk with journalists. This face-to-face contact creates powerful opportunities for interviews, product reviews and news coverage.
