PJP Eye develops plant-based, rare-earth-metal-free carbon batteries
Cambrian Batteries – solution for the future generations
PJP Eye provides a novel solution to the energy storage crisis: Plant-based, rare-earth-metal-free, carbon batteries. These batteries use common metals for one electrode and carbonized plant material (not graphite) for the other electrode (Single carbon batteries). This means that their batteries charge up to 10 times faster without the risk of explosion, have 20 years of battery life, and are 100% recyclable, revolutionizing the energy storage industry.
PJP Eye has also succeeded in manufacturing dual carbon batteries using plant based carbon for both electrodes. PJP Eye is ready to mass produce it by 2025, implementing them into EVs and electric airplanes. PJP Eye is the silver medalist for COP 26 Clean Energy Pitch Battle.
PJP Eye intends to open-source their single-carbon-electrode batteries in 2025, enabling battery manufacturers worldwide to produce the most sustainable batteries. Additionally, they will distribute power banks and solar cells to parts of the world that have no electricity. This will provide another economy type, where batteries are charged and the energy in them is sold. The power banks are then returned to be recharged. This means medical care and education access for the developing nations.
