Thinker presents the world’s first high-speed robot sensor! A brand-new demonstration will also be unveiled globally for the first time

Introducing the world’s first contactless Edge AI sensor (TK-01) and the hand (ThinkHand F “TK-01 inside”) that can measure the posture of objects. The ultra-compact sensor can be mounted on robot hands, enabling real-time measurement of posture just before pickup , previously unknown. Utilizing this information, robots can handle irregular objects and significantly reduce the time and cost for robot programming. Thinker aims to realize user-friendly robots by leveraging its own technologies.

Pre-Touch Sensor removes “four barriers against robot introduction.”
- Inability to grasp objects in many case … The product achieves picking up of transparent objects, reflective objects, irregularly shaped objects, objects plied up untidily and other objects that are difficult to be picked up by the conventional method.
- Teaching can be troublesome … Real time measurement of objects and fine adjustment greatly reduces time and efforts for teaching.
- Change of set-up is laborious … Operation with rough teaching reduces time and efforts for change of set-up at sites handling various kinds of objects.
- High cost … Operable with/without cameras, so the product does not require investment in expensive 3D cameras, etc.
We will be showcasing a brand-new demonstration created specifically for CES 2025. Be sure to visit the Thinker booth to see it in action!
